Being a Live Illustrator is the best!

It is so fun when someone arrives at my table full of curiosity and asks me what I do. Sometimes the first thing that comes to mind for people is caricatures, the best way I describe my style is more as a fashion illustration. I love capturing your individuality.

I also get one of my favourite responses which is "OMG I've seen this on Tik Tok, I LOVE IT, please can I have a drawing?" To which I obviously reply "ABSO-SPIFFIN-LUTLEY!"

Live illustration is fast becoming a very popular way to add the wow factor to your guests' experience. It is quirky, personal, and can sometimes even be sentimental for them when they receive their illustration. That is one of the many reasons I love doing what I do.

So how does it work?

Well, first of all I have my set up on a table in an accessable space at your event.

Your guests will approach me and I will explain that I am there to do a quick illustration of them.

Depending on the package you choose, I will either ask them to stay at the table while I draw them, or I will simpy take a quick photo, for me to use as my reference.

Your guests can carry on enjoying their time, and either come back to collect their illustration, or receive it after the event.

Having a photo of eveyone who wants a drawing means that if I can't complete all illustrations on the day, I can finish drawing after the event. Nobody misses out.

Each illustration takes 7-15 minutes to complete, this depends on how fabulous your guests have decided to dress, and how many people are in one illustration.

Your guests will receive their illustration in protective packaging just in case of any champagne spillages!

You can choose to have faces included or not in your illustrations, its completely up to your preference!

As I focus on the fashion, I have always drawn full figures during Live Illustration.

I map out the figure first with pencil, then I use Alcohol based Marker Pens which allow me to create bright and detailed designs, with a neat result.

I draw a maximum group of 3 figures in one illustration at the event, if you choose a package including photos, I then can draw groups of up to 5 guests after the event.
