How does it work?!

Send a Picture

Once you have enquired and booked, we will need the pictures of your guests. Each picture should be titled with the name of the person - this is SUPER important for the Caligraphy step.

We will discuss and agree the writing style and colour for your place names at this stage.

An Enquiry can be made via me on this website or Odeta's, you do not need to enquire with both of us. Whoever you enquire with first will be your direct point of contact.

Illustration

When the photos of your guests are shared with me, I will be able to create the illustrations for your placenames.

Each guest will be drawn with their head turned to the left, a smile and their eyes closed. An open smile will depend on the photo you send as the aim is for each guest to recognise themselves as much as possible.

Illustrations are completed at up to 3 weeks per 100 guests.

Calligraphy

The Illustrations will then be given to Odeta B Calligraphy, who will lovingly add the names in the writing style and colour you will have chosen at the beginning of your enquiry.

As you will have already labelled each photo with each guests name, Odeta will have access to these photo's so she will be able to start as soon as they are in her posession. Completed within 2 weeks per 100 guests.

The final payment will be due before postage.

Delivery

After the balance is paid, your place names will be posted to you via tracked and signed for delivery.

We will alert you once they have been posted and also send you a digital sneak peak of 2 place names!

Odeta and I will be working closely behind the scenes to ensure we are bringing your vision to life, and although we will work hard to keep communication with you simple, if there are any issues at any point feel free to speak to either of us!

And that's it! You will recieve your place cards ready for your big day!

Writing Styles

Your first step in the calligraphy stage is choosing which style for your writing you would like, Odeta offers four options including Brush, Classic, Modern and Bouncy.
